National Aglow Conference to be Held in Government Building

We are currently busy preparing for our National Conference here in American Samoa to be held in June 19th-20th.  All of our speakers will be local speakers.  We have reserved the newly renovated government building in town that is fully-air conditioned and equipped.  It is also centrally located and very accessible to everyone. As we began planning for this year's calendar, we applied for a $5,000 grant to the local Humanities Council to help us defray some of our conference expenses.

Family Given Wisdom - Baby Healed

Davila Walker, Aglow Fiji National President, sends this special report from the Nakasi Candlelight where the Aglow Prayer Coordinator is a member.  A mother (Susana), and her daughter came for prayer ministry.  Susana admitted that her dad dabbled in occultism bringing many problems to the family.  The Lord is giving Susana and her daughter wisdom in how to deal with this, and the Holy Spirit is meeting their needs. Aglow women from the Nakasi group visit  them twice weekly to encourage them. Susana is now a staunch member of Aglow.

Outreach to Cities and Islands

Me and Nicolie Ybanez, one of our new national leaders, traveled to Mindanao, May 19-23rd.  We were able to visit Aglow chapters and met the Aglow officers in Davao City and joined in their monthly meeting.  They welcomed us warmly and the next day we traveled eight hours by bus to the next cities.  A meeting in Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao with the area board, from, Valencia City, Iligan City and Cagayan de Oro City.
