Friendship Evangelism is a perfect example of an apostolic call to pioneer new works based on relationship rather than function.  It is a lifestyle to be lived rather than a goal to be obtained. If every believer would lay hold of the place they work and live we could change the atmosphere in communities around the world.

Friendship evangelism is encountering people with the love and kindness of the Lord in every situation.  It is about recognizing that our harvest field is all around us and that we can make a difference by praying for and showing Jesus to others.  As, Brother Murray said, Preach the Gospel wherever you go and if necessary use words.  That in essence is Friendship Evangelism.

From you own neighborhood to the market place, wherever you are, don’t be so insulated or isolated that you don’t encounter pre-Christians within your friendship circle. Invite them “in” and present a genuine personal Jesus to all whom you encounter.
